ALTAR LINEN MINISTRY
A group of women from the Altar Rosary Society offer their gift of stewardship to the parish by washing and ironing the many linens that are used each week at parish liturgies. It is perhaps the most behind the scenes ministry in the parish. At least 75 purificators and other sacred linens are used each week which makes this ministry so important.
The group rotates each month throughout the year, but it is done every single week. It’s really a sight to behold, except it is all done out of the public eye. And though those involved in the ministry say they do it not for themselves but for the glory of God, our parish would not be able to offer sacred communion without their service.
